Amendments to the constitution
The constitution may be amended by the council at any of its meetings
if two thirds of the members with voting rights are present 0 represented.
The decision shall require a two thirds majority of the votes cast.
Texts of the proposed amendments shall be communicated to the secretariat
at least to months before the meeting and the secretariat shall send all
proposed amendments to all the districts at least one month before the
meeting.
Dissolution of the Association
The Association shall be dissolved only at a meeting attended by at least
three quarters of the members with voting rights. This decision shall
require a two third majority to be valid.
If the Association is dissolved a dissolution committee shall then be
set up the dispose of the assets and liabilities of the defunct Association.
The Property of the Association shall primarily be made to pay the loans
of the Association. Whatever property is remaining, shall be transferred
to other association which have similar aim and objectives
Matters that are not included in this constitutions shall be treated according
to the civil code no 41 and 482 of The Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
The confirmation of this constitution shall be valid from the very moment
of issue of Registration Permit from The Associations Registration Regulation
office of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Justice,
according to civil Code no 404
Interpretation:
Any dispute regarding the interpretation of the provisions of this constitution
shall be referred in the first instance to an independent constitutional
committee, comprising three persons appointed by the National Executive
Board. The interpretation shall be confirmed by the Council at its next
meeting.
